it is about the personality of introverts like me. this aims at letting others understand introverts and that introversion is not negative but rather a type of personality with (+) & (-) attributes
State of alone-ness To others a mess! They can't stand it But to a-tee you fit!
Silence and space A sacred place. To be and be still Requires a lot of will.
You live in the head And don't want to lead. A good strategist In the sidelines you choose to exist.
For, when mixed to many A depleted energy. Need to recharge In a space that is large Enough to wonder What things to tinker.
Balance is needed. Go out and befriend. Be a good team player and a good dancer.
Show them what you've got Confidence is a lot. They think you're shy They'll know it's a lie.
Many people own a skewed view of those who are introverts, which I'm reminded of when I read this poem. However, the more I think about it--Introverts tend to be brilliant individuals who can be a little bit analytically. Although, it is simply because they tend to be more aware of their surroundings and themselves. You also including four lines that changed the whole mood and broke the barrier of that "introvert" stereotype with your second to last piece. "Balance is needed, go out and befriend, be a good team player, and a good dancer." That was beautiful--as it reflected that there are more to it than just being on the sidelines. Showing them not as a silhouette, but just as unique as everybody else.
