The World around us

 Day after Day

 

Day after day a brand new thing

Day after day the birds do sing

Day after day I feel alive

Day after day the sun does rise

 

Searching for meaning of life, babies born a beautiful sight

Stars in the sky shining bright, see them clearly in the night

Oceans move in tune with the moon, trees in the forest in full bloom

Every breath that we make, its for real make no mistake

 

 

Eagles fly way up high, soaring elegantly in the sky

On the plains way below, the lion with a monster roar

Ants work together building hills, intelligence they do it at will

Tetsy fly with the dangerous sting, tragic for humans if it sets in

 

Storms and deadly hurricanes  bring with it torrential rain

Tsunami rides in with the waves, devastating the damage that it makes

Ships sail out into the sea, in the doldrums there is no breeze

Sea life swims up with the tide, fisherman’s nets there’s no where to hide

 

 

The meaning of life’s a mystery, old mother nature has her way

Watch the sun set in the west, know I am just a guest

Energy we feel within, where did it all begin

Questions running round my head answers I can’t seem to get

 

Day after day a brand new thing

Day after day the birds do sing

Day after day I feel alive

I have read three of your poems now I think you are a very easy writer to understand how clever you are with words

and with the promise of every sunrise comes the illusion of safety - which can be a very dangerous thing to believe when your on par and up against surmountable odds anyway
but the birds do sing
and i am still alive
to see one last sunrise
