Apathy is in the air, people just don’t seem to care

Politicians change the rules; we just accept are we fools

It’s your god dam human right to challenge from the highest height

Shout it out demonstrate get out of bed it’s not too late

 

 

Forefathers would turn in their graves, especially after all they gave

You can’t accept all they say, you’ve got to know the time of day

How can we teach our young if we don’t know wants going on

Burnt the bra broke the chains learning how to play the game

Emily Pankhurst she did fight took up the struggle the woman’s plight

What have we done to history, it’s in the archives locked away

Can’t remember who fought, why is that, cause we’re not taught

Segregate is the way they don’t want us to integrate

 

 

Democracy now there’s a word it’s not often now that its heard

Learn about citizenship, were told that’s now the way ahead

Responsibilities will do the trick, rights we’ll do away with it
