lake waves lap over each other

as I look out to the water

wondering why you leaved

when you leaved

when did I turn out to be the strong one?

When no one was there for me

I never got weak

I only stood strong

so what gives you the right

to run away from your imaginary fears

when i've had to stand and face so many

real fears all my life.
