still sitting silently

as a crashing cargo train

races past on a long stretch of track

the bridge shudders and shakes

can the bridge hold up the train?

Or will it brake from the weight?

As the rocks tumble

the train races

the birds fall silent

my writing hand stops

as I see the small girl

get crushed by the weight
