Never Forget

Never Forget

A Poem by Nameless
"

She'll never forget him...how could she? She's joined him.

"
Now laying upon this cold ground,
my thoughts are stormed with something new.
I realize after all this time,
I will never forget you.

Not the way you kissed me or the way you held me tight,
But the sorrow you placed upon yourself,
and my strength to end the fight.

Pass through me darling as you make your way,
Past this place so distant from the grasp of your mind
And the horrid lies gripping your soul tight as your heart tried to shine.

Each step you take like a knife slicing each of the strings attaching you to my heart,
Each one an attempt to keep us close,
the tangle remaining; our art.

But I ran out of string,
and you ran out of hope,
Hope to carry on past these darkening days
and the strength to cope with the sorrows deep within.
Now you have forever
to live happily ever after.

Kneeling now in front of you,
my thoughts are stormed with something new.
I realize after this short time,
I will be joining you...

Oh, poetry put to the left instead of the right. I have read a couple of your poems and they all have a very unique structuring style. I like it, trying to inject some uniqueness into your stories.
