I tried, guess I’m not a Saint

This greed of which I write
I prayed with all my might
But still it did not depart
No remorse found in her heart

To pray for whom cause strife
A measure of your growth in life
The more you feel perturbed
The harder this task is learned

A grace which is unique
God’s gift to those that speak
Though lions protect their young
True choices for they have none

Forgiveness extended in love
Will help us rise above
For the Lamb Of God did show
This virtue we all must know
