Loneliness Still Loves Me

Loneliness Still Loves Me

A Poem by Megan Marie

Someday seems so far away,

For someone to come take me away,

But it's hard for anyone to do that,

with a Heart in Surrender,

Nothing can get in

Nothing can get out.

My heart is on lock down

refusing to get hurt once again.

Always still trying to let my guard down

but each time is a failed success.

There seems to be no chance

not even a penny for hope,to spare.

Time trickles on,

memories fade.

Well at least loneliness still loves me.

A sad truth here... expressing how it is for many who feel repeated pain...
