EXPRESSIONS OF LONELINESS!!!

Living with you but your never home,
I call and you never pick up the phone.
I cook dinner and light candles all round,
I wait to here you arive home, but theres no sound.
THE SILENCE IS DEAFENING!

You have some holidays and i smile with delight,
I wonder what you want to go do tonight.
You walk in the room dressed to impress,
Your going out with friends, i could have guessed.
THERES TO MUCH SPACE ITS EMPTY!

I call some friends, but they are all elsewhere,
The light is blown, there's a chill in the air.
Its cold, and im alone and i start to cry,
Im so over your endless goodbyes...
THE HEATERS ON BUT IM FREEZING!

We finally get a full day together i organise a date,
I slip on my dress, your busy on the phone, we arive late.
I compliment you on how nice you look as i reach for your hand,
You pay no attention to me at all, this isnt going as i planned.
IM WITH YOU BUT IM ALONE!

Then one day i made the best decision i had in years,
And i left you, and handed over all my fears.
It was now you that sat alone in the dark despair,
Wanting me back, hating that ill never be there.
TABLES TURNED YOU GOT BURNED!

You can have company and still feel unwanted, unloved and alone,
When there is no time spent, no talking and no touching is shown.
Never neglect the people you love, always express that you care,
Because there could be a day they are no longer there.
