LET LOVE BE!

About gay right!

Love is a wonderful thing that everyone will eventually find, 

Tall with small, fat with skinny, white with black, matters not, for love is blind.

Huge age gaps can be a little creepy, I for one am not a fan, 

Though as long as both people are over 18 its nothing to Ban. 

So if all these odd couples are aloud to date, 

why should it be different if your gay, not straight?

What gives people a right to judge and to hate?

Gays are people with feelings to, don't discriminate. 

Ever heard of the saying don't judge a book by its cover?

Well here's another good saying that i have just discovered...

Don't judge a gay by their sexuality, 

Get to know them and see there personality.

Everyone has a right to an opinion its true, 

But who people choose to date isn't up to you. 

Love comes in many different colors, sex's, sizes and forms,

But overall love is beautiful, and the heart it warms. 

So don't stop gay marriage, because you think its just not right, 

Let love be, how is it hurting you? people shouldn't have to fight. 

Stopping love is whats wrong, so stand up and don't take part, 

For people can't fight what they feel deep in there heart.

I love your straightforward & passionate message about gay rights. I agree wholeheartedly. Why do we try to change the way other people love? I like that you admit you are creeped out over age differences, which is a way of setting an example in your message: it's OK to dislike it, but not to disallow it. Your rhyme & rhythm work well as the reading flows, but there are a few typos . . .

5th line: "aloud" should be "allowed"
last line, 2nd stanza: "there" should be "their"
last line, last stanza: "there" should be "their"

Most of all, I like your straightforward, no-beating-around-the-bush style of expression.

I'm thinking about writing something concerning gay-ness . . . one of these days the right words will jump out of my fingertips. Here's my deal . . . I think gays & lesbians not only want to have their alternative lifestyles tolerated, but I also don't think it's fair to categorize them as being "just like anyone else" . . . I think more gays & lesbians are highly creative BECUZ of their rich emotional lives, which seem to be unique to gays & lesbians . . . they have contributed tremendously to our long history of all kinds of arts . . . I think their very gayness is what makes them different & special, so we shouldn't lump them together with everybody . . . just like people with different skin color will always have indisputable differences that should be celebrated, not simply tolerated or accepted. That's why I really appreciated your almost "in-your-face" defense of gay marriage . . . making a sassy statement about it without watering it down to make it politically correct or tolerable to people who view this very differently.

I honor the truth in this write so incredibly much! Anyone should be allowed to fall in love & be able to love who they want. We all deserve the right to feel accepted by someone & grow with them. I can't stand those who are close-minded or can't accept the fact that people are gay or bisexual. Looks or sexuality shouldn't be anything to worry about when it comes to the subject of love. The only thing that should matter is the fact that you & the other are happy, truly happy together & able to better each other. Communicate & support each other through any obstacle that comes in your life. With honest commitment, any type of love is possible. I'm thankful that people have an opinion, but no one has the right to judge who you want to build your life with.

Wonderful theme ! I like it. Everyone one has the right to choose how they wish to live and who are we to oppose. Great thought! Strangely, I never liked the term usage of gay or lesbian in general..I always thought them to be a girl or a guy with different taste and choice. Because these terms make them more lonely. We all are human beings first before coming under some kind of gender.
I hope the hypocrisy of society ends soon!
