A CINDERELLA STORY!

A CINDERELLA STORY!

A Poem by cimmy wuv xxxooo
"

Kind of a poem/ Story.

"
She walks around with head down, Depressed.
She knows she is nothing like the rest.
Shes just a slave girl, a servant, a maid,
With no one to save her, to come to her aid.

Dressed in draps, or pieces of cloth, she finds laying around,
Things that have been left, on the now clean and shinny ground.
People stare at her, point, giggle, and laugh, thinking shes a joke,
Except for the queens son, the prince, a handsome young bloke.

Secretly they meet up, and he gazes into her eyes intensely,
She stares right back, wondering why these feelings now grow immensely.
Every time he looks at her, suddenly she feels like a queen,
He stares at her like shes the most beautiful girl, he has ever seen.

Every time they meet, talk, and laugh, she no longer feels so insecure,
Suddenly she feels like she isn't just a slave girl anymore.
He makes her feel like shes, walking in the most beautiful dress,
Like her hair, her clothes, her shoes, arn't an ugly old mess.

He makes her feel like, she's important, and deserves more then shes got,
He makes her feel safe and protected, like he will be there, no matter what.
Shes has fallen in love, and suddenly shes smiling once again,
Until reality hits, and in comes the rain.

For she is just a slave girl, nothing more,
Shes ugly, dirty, and down right poor.
She knows no matter how he makes her feel,
Shes, no queen, thats just a fantasy, its not real.

Then the day comes, where the prince has to choose a wife,
The slave girl is forced to come, it cuts her like a knife.
Although to everyone's amazement, he comes running to her side,
Grabs her hand, and pushes, hes mum/the queen aside.

He gets down on one knee, and promises to love and cherish her for life,
There is no one in this world, he would rather choose to be his wife.
He promises her she will now receive the life she has always deserved and desired,
He looks his mum in the eye, laughs and tells her to get another maid hired.

She now walks around the castle head held high,
Her confidence comes naturally, she doesn't have to try.
For shes a Princess now, she was rescued. True love never fails.
She was always his Cinderella, her life is now one of those fairy tails.

This is an amazing work..
you've had it put into a perfect adaptation...
We know that it's cinderella's story just as your title implies...
but when I read through it.. it's kind of more than that.. it's much more romantic and powerful..
i love it.. and your rhyming is excellent...
great work cimmy. :)
