LITTLE OLLY!

About my new kitten.

Not long ago my bestie Tony gave you away,

I can only imagine how you where feeling that day.

You where scared and confused and it did show,

Being taken away by a stanger you didn't know.

With to much cats already, Tony had to say goodbye,

He was gonna miss you and anywon can see why.

I fell in love with you and so I took you home,

Where you can, eat sleep, smooch and rome. 

Im sorry you have no kittens to play with anymore, 

and you can no longer go outside thats for sure. 

I know to you this seems unfair,

but im only doing it cause I care. 

Now I wake up to you every day, 

and you make me smile in every way.

You are cute and cuddly but such a sook,

you are right behind me whenever I look.

You will go for whatever moves and you always want to play,

Theres scraches all over my hand, your very rough Id say.

You're forever wanting to eat, god your such a boy,

and you have wreaked the hell out of you're toy.

Though your only a kitten so ill keep you safe and sound, 

and love you more with each year that comes round.

My little Olly I love you so.....

and I'll be here to watch you grow.

You are a real sweetheart poet, always from the heart, you write honestly and with an innocence. It feels to me that you cherish writing, and are always looking to get your next thoughts out there. I am sure some people will make a huge fuss over spelling and such, and of course it is important, but is not the world itself. Charles Dickens, for example, could not spell, and I think he did OK. Six years ago I wouldn't have been able to appreciate this poem as much as I do now. You see, I never had a cat before...then there was Romeo! I don't need to tell you about him, because obviously, you already know. Nice job!
