Everymorning you rise from your sleep, 

Everymorning theres secrets you keep. 

Everymorning you have a messy head of hair,

Your wall is up, for you've had a tough life,

Your wall is up, but someday ill tear it down.

Your wall is up, oneday i'll make you my wife,

Your wall is up, you always wear a frown,

but someday i'll turn it upside down.

Never happy with how you look, 

Always wanting someone to hold.

Never easy to read, nor an open book,

Always crying out in the cold. 

MY BEAUTIFUL MESS!

One day when your walls come down, 

I'll drive away the hurt and pain. 

One day when you come around, 

I know i can make you happy again. 

MY BEAUTIFUL MESS!

I'll pull you up and onto your feet, 

Ill hold you close and never let you fall.

Because your best girl i'll ever meet,

You're worth it all.

Everynight I'll watch you as you sleep,

This is truly powerful. One is truly lucky to have someone who will stand by them through thick and thin, accept and love them as they are, and soothingly let them relax a bit more and open up at their own pace. And it is possible if two people want it to happen and work at it together!

I enjoyed the rhyme and the light feeling it created, even as it moved between light and airy to sad and sombre, back to light and hopeful. The air of determination at the end is my favourite part of this poem. Well written cimmy. Keep it up!

I'm not a big fan of repetition but it works with the flow here, who doesn't love a beautiful mess. Reads as it could be a song to me, like the sentiment here a lot cimmy.

An interesting piece, really illustrates that feeling of trying to be there for someone, and all their imperfections just make them that much more beautiful to you. I like the way that you fluctuated your rhyming scheme, not sticking to a single pattern. A few of the rhymes did feel a bit forced and contrived, but it never got in the way of this excellent piece; although it could probably be improved with a little work on the rhyme.

Understandable... it is difficult to follow structure and rhyme without it feeling forced, or worse, losing its meaning. Fortunately, the second one didn't happen here. I appreciate the effort you put into this, maybe I am just old school, but I definitely prefer poems which rhyme.

Yes as do i poems which rhyme just sound more poetic.
Yes sometimes that can be difficult, rhyming doesnt always come easily, sometimes you have to try a little, maybe in this piece i tryed a little to much. Im glad you like it though. I loved your review :)
