DARK V.S LIGHT!

My first depressing sad poem... about my emotions and how im feeling at the moment!

Waking up to another day of pain,

Its clear outside but i still feel rain.

Its sunny hot and bright, to most its a wonderful day,

Although i cant find the light, my skies are dark and grey.

There are less and less days now,

where i feel my day has been great.

I'm still searching for light somehow,

Sitting in the darkness i wait.

I'm sinking in this dark hole,

Deeper and deeper, day and night.

Pulling me out, is your loving soul,

Encouraging me to fight.

I'm too emotional, negative and depressed,

You're hot tempered and very stressed.

We hate this about each other, and so we fight,

This is only pulling us both away from the light.

I hate feeling so empty and dark,

I feel like a dead, empty, deserted park.

Once full of laugh's, filled with happy little souls,

Now just like mine, are dark deep black holes.

I have to be strong, for i cant sit and sulk,

Because the only one who can change my life is me.....

So ill try to get up when life gets me down,

and one day that light ill see......

aww hun im sorry you feel like this at times.
i know most of it is my fault and i hate myself for it.
i never want you to feel like this, it hurts me so much seeing you cry and being upset, especially because of me. this is why i say u deserve better than me.
i'm always making you feel this way and i'm never gonna stop feeling bad for it.
i think the past week has been great though coz i got my license back and we're doing more things together, spending more time together and enjoying what we have.
plus we're going away soon and we have valentines day coming up...you get to see your nanna soon. so there's heaps to look forward to and most of those things are with my car.
i'm glad i can take you to see anyone you want and anywhere you need to go.
i just want you to be happy and i will do anything to make it stay that way...this is why i am trying to do more things with you, not getting angry much anymore...and enjoying everything we do together.
i just love being with you and im sorry i take it for granted too much.
i just want and need you to be and stay happy :)
because i hate seeing you upset...i want to see you smile more and lately you have been, which makes my day more than u ever know.

Awwww hun you have made a lot of mistakes, and said a few of the wrong things, you have hurt me a fair bit. Although, no guy is the perfect boyfriend i don't expect you to be. You are better then most guys. You don't cheat on me, your honest, and loyal, most guys don't have those
qualitys. Your one of a kind, you deserve me, im so lucky to have you in my life :)
I know so many good things are coming up i cant wait. I mainly can't wait to go away with you.

Strong words of sadness and how grim life can be. I see your strength in the line "I have to be strong, for I can't sit and walk". This shows the fighter in you. I love the rhyme scheme. You did a great job.

Wow, Cimmy, I love this! I know the feeling of being in a dark hole, so reading this I really felt all the emotion put into it. But I love it because most poems about this stuff are about how they're never gonna get better and all that but yours IS about getting better. And believing that you can and will, which is awesome. :) Great job with this one :)
