MY BABY GIRL SASHA!

A poem about my cat have been thinking about writing a poem about her for awhile now just couldn't think of what to write hope it doesn't turn out to bad.

Sasha oh Sasha where do i start,

you have such a special place in my heart.

I love you so much you don't understand,

you out on that busy road at night this i cant stand. 

I worry about you only because i care,

your playful, and silly and not so street smart,

and not letting you out during the day seems unfair,

i only want to keep you safe, so im not willing to start.

I love everything about you everything you do,

these are the things that make me love you.....

The way you run around the house,

Making chicken noises, in that silly mood.

The way you run after a mouse,

even the cute way you meow for food. 

I love the way you run to me when i call,

Your cute fluffy body so cuddly and warm.

I love the way you purr when in my arms,

you've got me hooked with your charms. 

Now holding on to you so tight, 

feels so good and defiantly right. 

Your my cat/my possum i love you so,

More then i think you'll ever know.

i think we all worry about our pets when there out on the street, but we know we cant keep them cooped up inside. So glad you enjoyed it thanks for the review :)

Awww...how sweet! Our pets are members of our families...and we love them.
This is a warm fuzzy write about the love of a lady for her kitty, and it makes me feel good.

The first stanza brought me to concept a very interesting perception of Sasha, just from the few words you used to personify her. My mind quickly imagined this cat going out with other cats, to parties and drink. lol..I know it's out there, but hear me out for a second. I found this cat to be an endearing wild child of a loving parent waiting at home, while their baby girl goes out leaving them to wonder if they would ever return safely.... Now, in retrospect, a gesture so akin to pets (to go out and roam and come back home), stated in such a way truly is very engaging. . .(The first half of this review came from just reading the first stanza) ... As I continued to read this poem, the idea used in the first stanza (human personification of natural behavior of pets) was further explored and kept very consistent. Natural behavior of animals personified in a way that makes them human and the human who takes care of them's perspective used within this poem is very clever. Furthermore, loving this beautiful cat beyond expression of words she may never understand ,but may only feel through your actions towards her is sad but, so beautiful all at the same time. Splendid. This is such a creative and beautiful topic and write. Nice work it was a delight to read. I hope Sasha oh Sasha, makes it home safely tonight. :)
