A REAL MAN!

A poem about men with respect, men who love and care so much about the girl they love. Most importantly men that think with there heart not there dick. this is my idea of A REAL MAN. Enjoy everyone.

A real man thinks 

with there heart not there dick,

A real man doesn't

act cocky and slick.

A real man will.....

touch your heart and soul, 

A real man will.....

play there role.

A real man has

much respect,

A real man 

doesn't neglect.

A real man is 

not afraid to cry,

A real man will

promise to try.

A real man will show you 

hes love for you is deep,

Its a real man you 

should cherish and keep.

For A real man doesn't 

come around much these days,

and when a real man

really loves you he stays.

So ladies that are lucky enough

to catch a real man,

hold on to him and keep him

for as long as you can.

Show him what hes worth

and treat him well,

because a good man

can change in time will tell.

Real men deserve our

respect and trust back,

because a real man is

on the right track. 

If hes hurt to much

you should know, 

that good men can come

and good men can go.

A real man can change

around for the worst,

Im just glad 

i got to mine first.

To give him the respect he deserved

to treat him right,

To kiss and cuddle him

each and every night.

So now i hold him so tight

never to let go, 

for he is the last real man

i might ever know.

For now a real man he will stay,

and  forever i will love him this way.

There is a great deal of truth in your words here.....

Especially in this modern era where there is so much lack of respect for elders, parents and women, the real man as you have described him is indeed becoming an endangered species. The thing that strikes me most about this poem is that you know within yourself, that as a woman, you must also treat your man with the respect that he deserves, too. A very valid point, and one which is often overlooked.
Your rhyme flows very well throughout this poem. Very well done indeed.

Yes unfortunately its true there is not many good men left on this earth. Some of the ones that are good are not respected they get taken advantage of, and treated poorly by woman, so some good men change and that's very sad.

I loved this and this stanza's is my fav. one. I enjoyed reading this .. just replace the word "there" with "their" at starting ... overall is good.

I love seeing when someone as gorgeous as you give respect men because in today's life due to some or due to much bad men.. good men're getting feel shame and some people treat good men wrongly because they thing they're too as same as bad ones .. but good people're still here .. here in onto the earth .. and you've proved it by making this marvelous piece. I loved this poem much, your cool.

Am glad to know you've got your good man and i hope he knows how lucky he's to be kissing you and cuddling you every nights ...

We are a dying breed...

Sad that so many are lost to the Cycle. Where once they were all that you describe, until, along came a spider that trapped them and stole their innocence. Some are resilient enough to recover from such heartache, but others, the less fortunate, become the very antithesis of what this poem is about. Yet somehow many of "those" men are the ones women are most often drawn to.

Nice guys finish last, it is said. I guess because everyone wants a bad boy.

This is a good poem. Like chivalry, men with the qualities you list are nearly nonexistent. Dreams of the ideal are all that remain.

This is sad but true, you clearly get what my poem is about.
I was lucky enough to find one, But for many other women they may wait forever, when there is no nice men out there left.
Some girls do prefure guys that treat them mean as they say keeps them keen haha.
But i and lots of other ladies love the sweet nice romantic guys.
theres hardly no men as iv described left anymore everyone sees that, it sucks...
but Such is life i guess.

I love it ! It sends such a great message. All men are not the same! I think in the line "A real man will show you hes love for you is deep," I think you meant the word his not hes. & I also think in the first lines when you say the word "there" I think it should be the word "their" Correct me if im wrong. But all in all I got the point and it was an amazing poem !

This is all so true, I know there are real men out there but i have yet to find mine, i am glad that you have one i would hold on to him because they come few and far between.
