Giving My Best Thoughts To The Man I Married Because I Loved Him

If this Happy Birthday Letter should find its way to you-

First, it was the deep gaze in your eyes that made me smile,
Second, it was the stoic gait of your stride, that made me want to talk to you,
Then I recognized your ability to be silly, and not care how you looked-"or so it seemed"
I fought hard to not be taken in by your odd, but genuine charm;
As you sat on the wooden stool that night, carefree, and seemingly comfortable,
Butterflies in masses spread from heart to my lips as I cautiosly kissed you behind your ear, Hoping that I wasn't overstepping a woman's place in your eyes,
Conversations with you ranged from nonsense, trivia, to deep discussions- you were the full spectrum and you showed me yet another side to our amazing world,
I already thought life was wonderous, but you made my forest come alive with more passion than I had ever known, and as it turned out, that love for you, scared me beyond reason,
I could listen to you for hours as I watched your facial expressions, the way you'd get excited over an article in a magazine and your head would move from side to side as it rested against the side of the couch,
You amazed me with your bellowing whole hearted laugh, you could laugh at ease over petty mistakes,
Adventurous and creative, spontaneity unlocked many doors to the soul of our world, my rainbows deepened in hue because of the strength of your touch and intensity of the words you spoke,
Sometimes you tried too hard to prove yourself, when you didn't need to,
You were the man of my dreams; therefore, the biggest threat to my stubborn ,
hard -earned independence,
Though the years have brought some very excruciating pain,
I Love You, I Appreciated more than you knew( which I'm sorry for the hurt and frustration that caused you) and if I had that real chance again, to brighten your life and bring back the tenderness, I would. Be the change you want to see, be your best self.
