White

White

A Poem by enigmaticwings

you stand there with black eyes
I see your soul buried deep
underneath your careless lies
did you disappear or just fall asleep

my touch no longer wakes you
say I broke you
but i shed my skin let you in
when i needed comfort too

at war I lost my diamond card torn
I can't forget who you used to be
take my pain
play your game
take it all from me

you stand there with cold heart
I see your soul falling deep
don't know where to start
did you disappear or just fall asleep

my touch no longer wakes you
say I broke you
but I gave my lace sold my ace
when I needed comfort too

at war I lost my diamond card torn
I can't forget who you used to be
take my pain
play your game
take it all from me

day and night
you'll fight me with your spite
but I'll fill my heart
Ya that's where I'll start
playing your game
seeking the same
forgiveness is my name
I won't forget who you used to be

at war I won with my heart card on my sleeve
I'll take your pain, ending your game
Ya I won't forget who you used to be
Ya I'm forgiveness, my king you used to be
