Your Presence Is In My CityA Poem by Depth of WomanHe came around again...go figure...he is always buzzing when I am least expecting it. And I'd be lying if I said I didn't love him, but things are different now... And I wish him a safe trip home.
And you would never know how much I still love you.
Your visiting hours are almost through. And when you look me in the face, You will never know how much I've cried. You will never know how much I cared. You will never see that. But we feel each other now, in these ghost streets... me being 19 you were 23... we were so alone. And now we're old ghosts. When you were sitting in front of me the last time, I was the woman I dreamed to be, after you left, after the pain, these walls know my hidden sorrows from you... I will be only nice... for you are a memory, my old best friend, and now, you are leaving. Your Presence is in my city,
the hollowed glow from an old flare, our love is still something we find, we seek it, and we most definitely put it to rest. Bonne voyage, mon capitaine il n'est pas nécessaire souhaiter pour mes rêves au être. © 2015 Depth of WomanReviews
