Give Us This Day

With colour abounding, vibrant and true

The forest stands tall, like a bolt from the blue.

Sweet scents and sights, heady and vivid

Give us this day for the sweet orchid.

They don't understand as they thrash it down,

This is the future, life has to be grown.

 

Vanity and greed too often prevail,

Give us this day the song of the whale.

Our oceans are vast, filled to the brim.

It is the realm of the whale, don't crucify him.

 

Give us this day, for the child we hear.

Let him smile on life, not shed a tear.

He must be protected, through hardship and strife,

Children are our future, they are life.

Give us this day for peace in our lands,

I can't spend my life with my head in my hands.
