MemoriesA Poem by black.butterflylove will live on
Memories
In my memories you are there, standing as light as air with a grin on your face, reaching arms for a sweet embrace. How come you are not here? does magic work by a tear? because I have cried, but no matter how I tried, you are not here. That is what I fear. Regardless of how real you seem, you are nothing but a dream I can never realize. That is what my memories verbalize. I think of death, in every breath as I take your absence in. My heart wants to give in. I live to see it slowly bit by bit. Still I do not want you to die, even if you are a white lie; you live in me as I can see, as I dive really deep into silent sleep. As I wake up I remember; I go through our anger, through our laughter, how we met on December during that cold winter, that will forever linger. © 2010 black.butterflyAuthor's Note
