Sugarcoated lies

Sugarcoated lies

Sugarcoated lies

The sweet memories of happier days

Keep you away from facing the future

So good at easing your life’s craze

As you are missing the bigger picture

When your tears run down your cheeks

Rainbows are stretched through the sky

When the fear in your heart speaks

You keep it inside with a one simple lie

You try to keep your heart so white

Regardless of what you should be facing

But you need a different kind of light

And a future you should start chasing
