![]() Blinding lightA Poem by black.butterfly![]() Light may not be a guide sometimes![]()
Blinding light I am on my way to eternal suffering, And by these hands digging my own grave. As my heart is still fluttering, With the unrequited love that I gave. A flicker of light that leaves me blinded, That is every time he shows his face, I blush and seem like a simple minded, He walks away smiling with no trace. I am losing my heart as time goes by, The one I always treasured. The walls where my treasure is supposed to lie, Are wrecked and can’t reject or defy. But as I see my soul being shred to pieces, I feel a strange supreme happiness. However my love for him still increases, I can’t run away from this absolute blindness. © 2009 black.butterflyAuthor's Note
