fruitful love

fruitful love

"

love has a flavor

"

Fruitful love

There’s a picture in my head,

Seeing him so fun and youthful,

And I’m just an innocent kid,

Thinking about how love is fruitful.

I wonder how would it taste?

Would it make my heart float?

Is it too sweet and eaten up in haste?

Or too bitter and sour for the throat?

It is really a magical flavor,

That can somehow sway you away.

For that taste, I’m such a craver.

I want it so much on a silver tray.

I’m seeing it through a vision,

Like a far-off apple on that tree,

Not grown up enough to make a decision,

In a dream only me is able to see.

Love should be your best days and keep the mind and heart dancing. A excellent poem. Flow of words is very good and poem was a pleasure to read.

I agree with Thomas. I've never thought of love as a taste that at times can bitter or sweet. I find this poem very uplifting. The imagery you use is outstanding, especially in the second stanza (I believe thats what they're called in poems anyway). I can taste the flavors of past loves myself when I read it. I love it!

This has an incredible flow to it.
A great piece!
Love in taste... I have never thought of it like that.
Well done.
