Passion-Driven life

Passion-Driven life

A Poem by black.butterfly
"

life is all that's left when she's missing him

"

Passion-Driven life

Passion drives my soul to see him

Just a memory I won't forget

Now my shining light is so dim

Our day had reached its sunset

To the scent of our days I linger

His words remained my reflection

All that echoes to every whisper

Everything that I saw as perfection

Even if the days steal him away

I won't give in to this agony

I don’t know what life might play

But I know its just fate's irony

I won't forget what he left behind

And For that I will live on

I will put my broken heart aside

And for that I will move on.

this is nice.. the flow is superb and the emotion is pleading

After the eighth line the tone really trails off like reading a completely separate poem in which neither are tied in anyway. Still I kind of like the first 8 lines because the message is still clear and yet beautifully spoken.

This poem is beautifully sad
"Our day had reached its sunset" shows how it is the end of a wonderful and lovable journey you both had and in the end everything is finished.
In the second stanza I perceive it much as how you are going to miss him and in the third you explain how you perceive it as the consequence of fate and life ... In the last stanza however you realise you have to move on....this whole poem pictures the idea of a perfect love story in the sense that it has a wonderful beginning and a hurtful end, and in the end you had to move on, forgetting the past ... But somehow we know that the past always haunt us in our present
I can really relate to this written piece right now because I've just been heart broken too
But like you said, we have to move on
Well penned!
