Sweet Death

Sweet Death

A Poem by emz

Such darkness

Covers the bright happiness

of the moon

Brown eyes cry

when once they danced

like speckles of dust

caught in a ray of sun.

Smiles, now sad lips

whispering prayers

that not a soul hears

Once so vibrant a man

left now to the realms

of our sweet earth

Memories crawl

from my minds eye

like a butterfly from his

cocoon

Emerging into almost

reality

And for just a moment

Just one glorious moment

You are here

I can touch you

Kiss you

And say goodbye.

Love these words right here, there's some wisdom there, very well written...Kim
