Snapshot memoryA Poem by emz Walking along the disused railway line A magical picture of nature faced me In just one eyeful I saw twenty-seven Different shades of colour Thirty sights of different trees and flowers A million different images filled my head In just one eyeful my inbuilt camera snapped An eternity of wonderful Pictures If I was ever to lose This glorious gift of sight I know I could survive inside my mind I don’t need a digital camera To capture my world For I have a snapshot memory.
