Nobody there

Nobody there

A Poem by emz

Walking down the dimlit street,

i turn my collar to the rain,

the only sound is from my feet,

the silence coming from my pain.

I turn the corner, my tears fall,

nobody there to help me,

in the darkness, i feel so small,

nobody there to see me.

I fall on knees, a crumpled sight,

my heart has broke in two,

can't go on, got no more fight,

nobody there, not even you.
