A Ditty hehe!

 

you will always be my friend,

there for me till the bitter end,

when i cry you wipe my tears,

when i laugh, you buy the beers.

 

nothing more that i can say,

you truly are my waking day,

i,d surely die wihout you near,

my best friend, there is no fear.

 

I ask for hope to hold my hand,

but all i need is frienships band,

my world would cease without you here,

my best friend i hold you dear.

And a fine lil' ditty it is. You've already been alerted to the typo. Besides that, the only thing I may say (and please take it with a grain of salt) is that there's a whole lot of rhyme going on that I'm not sure is necessary. I love the heartbeat behind this and think it's strong enough to support itself in any form. But, in this case, for some reason, I feel like the rhyme is almost like artificial life support that just isn't necessary. Does that make sense? Take this review for what it's worth; either way, this poem is a rich outpouring of love and gratitude... a salute to true friendship.

But on a side note, in the last line, you may want to change "beat" to "best" as I think that's what was intended... But feel free to beat me if I'm wrong. ^.~
