Just love

Just love

A Poem by emz

As the river ebbs into the sea,

your love it ebbs it's way to me,

As the leaves turn brown,

and fall apart,

your love it falls into my heart.

As the rain it falls upon your face,

you know your love has found it,s place.

So darling with our glasses raised,

we,ll celebrate the happy days,

which are certain to be ours soon,

as certain as the sun and moon.

I agree short but tempo and mood clearly portrayed. The picture of another persons love actually falling into another persons heart is an amazing line the concept and idea the feel of falling and then being caught by love is something that could be a poem in itself. Great read for me look forward to reading some other works

You have a great talent for tempo and style, but above all is your evocation. The ability to evoke emotion is the single greatest talent a writer in any discipline can have, in my opinion. As a novelist, I would say that you'll be great in that discipline as well. Good luck with your book.

This proves the point that....the best things can come in small packages.
You have written a sweet poem which in it's simplicity is beautiful.
Well done.
