Trapped

Trapped

A Poem by Emily Collins
"

Family member going through a rough patch.

"
I'm trapped and have nowhere to run.
My mind is racing 100 mph, yet my body is still.
Didn't think it'd turn out this way; upside down, around and around... I'm stuck here with nowhere to go.
I'm a mess.

My life is in limbo, as the world carries on around me.
I'm stuck here and helpless, with nowhere to turn, treading on eggshells.
Crying and shouting occur daily, yet I must endure the hardship...For I am trapped and have nowhere else to go.
I'm broken.
