Secrets.

Secrets.

A Poem by Mily

Keeping things to yourself is so difficult,
not because you wanna tell anyone.
But because it's like they're holding you down in an ocean.
You feel like there's an anchor holding you down, not letting you go.
There's a sense of pressure that tags along,
and it's just so exhausting to keep trying to swim up.
It's so wearisome.
But at the end of the day,
I guess you have to hold them in.
Not for your sake, but someone else's.
