Alone In The Dark [Prove Your Point]

Alone In The Dark [Prove Your Point]

A Poem by Emunah June.

Even in the light

There is a darkness cast

On the poor soul

Who just so happens

To be behind it

If you called me your light, I may be offended

For in the heart lies a child

Scared, too heavy a pride to swallow

And you say I cause you darkness

Yet it's too dark to prove your point

:) This is wonderful. What came first the chicken or the egg. I enjoyed it!

I'm not very good at deciphering poems, but I'll try my best! From what I got, this is in the point of view of the shadow, correct? Sorry, I'm not very smart when it comes to poems. ^^" But I did enjoy reading it. Good job! :D

Pure talent. You leave the reader with questions and mystery. You did so successfully and left me with a yearning to read more of your work. Way to go. Write on.
