"You may now kiss the bride."

 

You may be thinking, "Isn't this how the book started out?" Well, yes and no. This time, it was MY wedding, and everyone watched as I kissed my bride and made her my wife. People were clapping, some where cheering, most were crying.

 

Ayumi and I were just glad to be married. When the kiss was over I looped my arm through hers and led her back down. Children from both sides of the family were throwing flower petals at us, making us laugh. Ayumi smiled at me. "Can you believe this?" she asked, fingering the flowers in her hand. I smiled and looked her up and down.

 

Today she looked prettier than usual. Her frosty white dress hugged her hourglass figure, and her raven black hair was tied up in an intricate ponytail. The veil along her hairline covered her face, but I was just thankful it was transparent. I wanted to see her eyes.

 

In the back of the room stood Koda and Brother, who were smiling when they saw us. "Congrats you two!" Koda said, clapping. Brother nodded. "Yeah really. We were wondering when you'd get married," he said with a smile as he looped his arm around Koda's waist. They both were happy for us.

 

Ayumi grinned. "Thanks you guys! We're just as happy as you...aren't we Alphonse?" she says, smiling. I nod. "Of course."

 

Brother sighs. "Has it already been 3 years? Wow, it feels like a much shorter time," he says, straightening the glasses on his face. Koda smiles. "Yeah but that was 3 years ago, lets focus on today!" she said smiling. I smile back at Ayumi. "Yeah...today's a great day huh?"

 

Koda grins and looks at Brother in a strange way. Brother must have noticed. "Wh-What?" he asks, and she smiles. "Go on tell them!" she said, excited. Ayumi and I look at each other, already knowing what they were going to say. Brother coughs, then blushes. "Well uh...we've decided to try again and have another baby," he said, and Ayumi squealed in joy. "Oohh yay congrats!!" she said laughing as she gave Koda a sisterly hug. The two girls squealed and jumped up and down while Brother and I escaped to the back of the room.

 

"We've got some cute wives," I say, and Brother laughs. "Of course we do. We have good taste in women." He pours himself a glass of wine, and I pour myself one. We clink our glasses together and take a big drink. "Congrats again, Al. Really. You deserve it," he says.

 

I take another drink before sighing. "Hey," I ask, "Is Kaen out of jail yet?" I ask. Brother shrugs. "I dunno, but when he does we'll be ready for him. No worries."

 

I smile.

I'm not worried.

 

I never told anyone about my conversation with God and Anaise. Everyone would think I had lost my mind. But I knew the truth, and so I knew everything would be okay.

 

Ayumi rushes over and gives Brother a big leaping hug. "Congrats you guys!!" she says, smiling and blushing. He laughs, and looks a little embarrased. "Yeah, we're hoping this'll turn out better then the last time."

 

I grab Ayumi's hand. "Ready to go off on our honeymoon?" I ask. She nods hugging me around the waist.

 

"Whenever you are."

KAEN IS IN JAIL?!?!?!? HOTDOG!!! DREAMS REALLY DO COME TRUE!!!!! XDDD I'm so happy he got punished for what he did. That boy needs some anger management and he should never be allowed around their kids, not even on holidays- *rant rant*... Anyway! This was sooo~ good!!! I'm a little sad that it's over, but you made it better with a GREAT ENDING and also putting that nincompoop in jail. YOU MADE ME SO HAPPY!!!!! *hugs*
