[Prolouge]A Chapter by Emunah June.My name is Evi Nightngayle, and I can do magic.
Not the kind of magic you see in Disney movies. You know the type: the kind where, with a wave of a wand, everything is happy and warm and fuzzy. Hate to break it to you, but thats just another one of Hollywood's lies. That kind of magic doesn't exist.
I perform what I like to call Realistic Magic.
My kind of magic is the kind where you get tired after using it. The kind that takes all of your strength to summon, and even then it shows very little results. Realistic Magic is based off of positive thinking and strong will, not pixie dust and fairy godmothers.
You'd call me strange for being able to use magic, or even claiming that I can use it, but its true. In fact, you've been living alongside magic users your whole life. Surprising? I bet. Anyone can be a magic user: your teachers, your parents, your best friend, even your dog. All of them could be using magic, and it's been hiding under your nose your whole life. Us magic users like to keep our powers to ourselves, using it only when we feel nessesary. You've probably seen magic at work a few times in your life, but you've written it off as--what? Luck? Fate? I bet. You've probably seen it most at school. Y'know that guy who never studies or pay attention in class, yet gets straight A's on his report card? Magic. And that old lady who's as skinny as a wooden board, yet is just as energetic as a teenager? Magic. It's all magic. Not luck. Not fate. Not genetics. Magic.
Your whole life has been based off of magic. And you never knew it.
