RaveA Poem by Emunah June.
We can walk the streets Lined with fireworks and techno beats Light up the night with party flashes And waves of heat From dancers passing by
The halls align with people Ready to grab reality and spin Most unheard souls Most ones who should never step foot here Who's parents dont know
The DJ spins the disk And the room explodes in artificial melody Sweat rolls off the men's face And the women's legs
There's the one Who stands out She's a firecracker Standing in at only five feet tall
She grabs the glowsticks and ties them to strings And creates a personal lightshow As the speaker burst with the beat Fast forward, rewind, and scratch the disk She's moving at an incredible pace
Everyone cheers Everyone can see The fire in her eyes Everyone can feel the heat Of the rave
