I like this chapter... it is very simple, short, but powerful. I adore the eerie flow and hint of rhyme. I also love the fact that she can spell her name correctly, but almost nothing else!

Perhaps adding the year? Then again, that may defeat the purpose or cause this novel to go out of date.

Another suggestion, WHY does the 'Master' want her to write? This may come about soon, but this question takes readers by the throat and drags them on. (Fancy talk for I really want to read more chapters X)

Overall, nicely done. Short and sweet, made me want to read more.
