The End of The WorldA Poem by Emunah June.I don't believe the world will end tomorrow, but this is just incase...
I don't want to be here When everything hits the fan I don't want to be here Lord, You can understand?
Lord, take me in Your embrace And hide me from all the misery Shield my eyes from the burning fire Lord, please protect me
I don't think that it's over yet But on the off chance that it is Salvage my soul in your army of love Lord, please grant my last wish
I press my tender hands against the Bible And wonder if this is my last meal I'm nearly positive this is false But Lord, if this is real...
If this is real then don't let me suffer End it all with Your gentle touch Allow me to dance freely into the light And Lord, bring me peace...bring me much!
Let me grow wings Let me cascade Don't let this be my last diamond Lord, don't let this be my last spade
I am sure this end is far too soon Your words say so, my dear dear Lord But if it's true, if it's really true... Lord, send me to heaven on a divine cord
