Tuesday, April 23rd-Ishbalan Ruins

 

I remember the ruins as bleak and broken. The sand was crunchy underneath my feet.

 

The ruins were windy. There was nothing. The end.

Deep swirling sands made it hard to see. I didnt see anything out of the ordinary. The end.

 

The ruins looked like what they were named. Ruins. Nothing but broken houses which held shattered hopes and dreams of the Ishbalan people. I didn't like being there. It made me feel almost like I was standing on sacred ground. And everyone knows that I am not sacred. I am merely a new mother who is sitting here with a lazy husband and a baby who wont stop crying. I mean sure, all those phamplets on motherhood SAY to prepare for the weeks to come, but do they ever actually measure up to the countless hours I sit, watching and WAITING for when that UNGRATEFUL CHILD IS HUNGRY?! NO!! NO THEY DONT!!! AND HERE I AM, WRITING A REPORT ABOUT THE STUPID ISHBALAN RUINS I VISITED!!! AND FOR WHAT REASON!?!?!?! NONE!! heh, I dont even NEED this job!!!! Ed brings in MORE than enough to support us all. Yeah, and I can do what a good lower specimen does and let him take care of all us females...yeah. THEN HE CANT EVER SAY THAT I'M STICKING MY NOSE INTO BUSINESS THAT DOESNT COCERN ME!!! YOU KNOW WHAT DOESN'T CONCERN HIM?!?!?!? ME!!! I didn't even WANNA be a mom!!! He just decided one day that I would be, and NOW I AM!!!!! I HATE MY LIFE!!!1!!!!1
