So smile big and close your eyes

 

This is the last night you fight alone

You don't have to fight, because now I'm home

 

This is the last night you cry yourself to sleep

I'll sit with you, and all your secrets I'll keep

 

This is the last night I hate myself for leaving you

Because when dawn comes, I know what to do

 

I'll run to you, and hold you tight

And hug you hard, squeezing you free of tears shed last night

 

You'll look at me, and smile extremely wide

Because all of our pain was felt on our Last Night
