STRAWBERRY MILK.

STRAWBERRY MILK.

A Poem by Emunah June.

how refreshing is the word
that nourishes the soul ;
a soft serve garden for children
of the throne.

in candied pinks and blushing silvers,
bubbling sugars and summer sweets.
sun drop butterscotch, oh!
how we dance within the joy!

and when i rest in dewy grass
i sing the song of firefly choirs.
how gentle is the tome
of honey dipped revelations.

i will find the grace of You
in every syrupy smile.
of fingers interwoven
in waffle cone patterns.

for how the word of Adonai
is as sweet as anything ;
we will dip the apple in agave
in the season of living water.

Author's Note

Emunah June.
I've really taken this week to look inward at the blessings of Adonai, and chosen to enjoy the sweetness of His character.
