Hasty Faith [Lion & Lamb]

Hasty Faith [Lion & Lamb]

A Poem by Emunah June.
"

"You are the artwork on my tongue; the power in my pen."

"
Have you ever seen a coat more white than He?
A voice dipped in honey, rolling like thunder off His lips.
Your name is a melody of His design!
Above the cotton tapestry rests the King of King, the Holy of Holies.

We are to bend our knee, but how can we?
We do not even know how to bite our tongue
nor swallow our words;
Our God is as great as our egos, and we tend to smother the wrong thing.

God, call my name and I will come.
I will bow before You, I will sing Your song
to the deaf -- I will show Your love to the blind.
You are the artwork on my tongue; the power in my pen.

My blueprints are webbed between His fingers.
My breath is thread in a grande spool, only cut
by the scissors of sin, and even then, there is always
a way to rescue the garment of You.
