Alive [Clarity Is Vital]

Alive [Clarity Is Vital]

A Poem by Emunah June.
"

A short thing

"

the season of love has long since passed

times five, maybe more

despite this, my heart still hungers

for the tainted meat it once consumed

I see your name and that's all I need

to forget who I truly am in a moment

where clarity is vital,

no pun intended

I hate how much I need you

and I hate how much you don't need me

you've gone so long without my scent

do you even remember I'm alive?

The questions of love. I have 45 year poetry about old friends and lovers. Two old girlfriends found me on facebook. We can be found if someone wanted. I believe learning the loss of love are just lessons to make us wiser and smarter when true love shall come. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

No one ever forgets a past relationship. Whether good or bad. When the heart feels wounded, it's hard to get over.
