Whisper Your Secrets Into The Chatbox

Whisper Your Secrets Into The Chatbox

A Poem by Emunah June.
"

It hurts when you find out the truth, doesnt it?

"

You must have a lot to think about

On these drab summer days

Alone and waiting for him to write you

I know, I know how it feels.

But these extremes

Are they worth it?

Secrets pressed on the lips of liars

Just like you

A lustbug amoung the wolves

Walk along the stairs we humans call "feelings"

You love him, I know it.

I have experienced that love myself

Touching the sky while falling

A broken parachute while the clouds carress your skin

But this...why this?

Why now?

True colours against the canvas

This artist is sick of painting such a picture

Do you not think of the acid you spit?

Of the words you speak and actions you display?

A shocking revelation

A smear over the signature

The hour of twelve is soon upon you

And this, this that I know

You will be forced to eat the acid you spit

And I won't feel remorse this time

Seven knife

Used to cut your tongue and then

Only then

Will you spew the blood you've spilt with these words

I will become what I've always felt

These chains you call memories cannot hold me forever

I will be that ghost of black

What we normal humans call Truth and Confrontation

So snuggle under yours covers tonight

And as you continue to reject his hints

This ghost of black will break your shields

And place a mirror on the ceiling

So when you wake

You can see

What a monster you, my lustbug

Have truly become

I like this poem a lot and was surprised by it lack reviews. Come you lot don't be shy. Perhaps it was a bit to close to the emotional dark bone for some but then poetry should evoke an emotive response.....or whats the point.
Top Rating from me :) A hidden gem
