Destined Lover

Destined Lover

A Micro-fiction Romance

"
It was in a small Japanese town that I first met her. She was outgoing, energetic and something about her appealed to me more than any other girl had. The way her long black hair flowed in the breeze made her seem like a goddess of sort. If there were ever a goddess who flew people to where ever they paid her to take them. This is my Shiro, my destined lover, and the only one that I absolutely trusted my life with. It took me quite a while to get up the courage to even talk to her, but once I had I sure was glad. It was easier to talk to her than it was to most other people. I felt relaxed just being with her even though I'm usually very reserved and quiet. I was thrilled when she said she would be my one and only love. That's the past though so let's get back to present day.
* * * * * * * * *
"Would you stop trying to follow me everywhere!" Shiro yelled at me.

"You know I can't Shiro, I get so worried about you when you have to go away for even a little amount of time. I don't want to lose you. We just found each other like six months ago." I replied.

"I know but your beginning to look like a stalker to some people because you never talk to anyone because you are so quiet and reserved.," she yelled as she got in the plane, "Plus my clients find it disturbing that you follow us on the ground."

"I didn't know that they mind. If I stay here while you're on this trip will you promise to call me as soon as you land?"

"Yes, but you have to promise to not blow up your lab while I'm gone again either.

"Fine, just hurry back. You're going to be the death of me."

I watched the plane take off while my mind went through every possible thing that could go wrong while she was up there. I just had to keep thinking positively or else I wouldn't be able to get anything done while she's gone.
Unlike most men I was the one that cooked, cleaned and did the rest of the chores where we stayed because quite frankly I was there more than anyone else. I could work on my experiments without ever having to go many places except when I ran out of supplies. Shiro and I have reverse roles. She really is the source of most of our income.

I don't like the idea of not following her today. I have this feeling that something terrible is going to happen because I'm not there. Like I'm going to get a call from somewhere far away saying that she going to die and that I need to come say good bye. The phone mysteriously just started to ring.

"That's weird." I say to no one in particular as I walk to answer it. As I pick up I know who it is instantly by the sound of their breathing.

"Hans," says the voice breathlessly.

"Shiro?" I ask hoping it's not her.

"Yes, Hans, the plane crashed. Someone shot us down. I don't know if I can hang on much longer."

"N…N…No. You can't die on me. Where are you? I'll come get you"

"I'm just over the other side of the mountain in the small valley to the east. Hans, if I don't make don't mourn me. Okay?

"I promise. Shiro, you have to hang on. I can't lose you. I'm on my way."

There was no time to waste. I had to find her and fast. Yet can I make it in to save her. I wouldn't be able to stand life without my Shiro. Please don't let her die.

Thanks so much for the review.
It's getting very sad..
The continuity and dialogue flow well. Story line blossoms at the end.
This is bright and refreshing.

I enjoyed it.
