Changes

Changes

A Poem by Emrick

Everything is in a never ending change,
what was familiar yesterday today is strange,
wrinkles replaces beauty and old turns the youth,
lies become of what was formerly held as truth,
mountains wear out and mansions bats invite,
darkness engulfs what was once in light,
everything is in a never ending change,
suppose you stop loving me, i wouldn't find it strange.

The last line makes a great ending. I wouldn't have imagined this as a love poem in a thousand years, if it wasn't for that line. I love the rhyming, and the sentence formation is good.

Have a great day.
