A Week at All-Girls' Government Camp Destroys Your Soul

A Week at All-Girls' Government Camp Destroys Your Soul

A Poem by Alexa

The white-hot noise of a thousand estrogen-filled body bags surrounds me.

I won't be encompassed by their radiating scream.

Cut through the darkness at 5:47 this morning,

but this light speaks in whispers and nods.

I'd give my firstborn for the sanity of my own bed.

Or an indescribable amount of benzo.
