The "natural flavoring" in many berry flavored foods actually come from a chemical called Castoreum, which can be found in a beaver's butt. Look it up.
I don't trust people who say their favorite flavor is blue raspberry.
It takes on a blue hue -
And that's odd -
Even blueberries aren't really blue.
It tastes of sugar
And of all natural, organic beaver butt
And smells like benzene.
It exists for the purpose of existing,
Forced to take on a facade
So as not to be confused with watermelon, cherry, and strawberry.
Blue raspberries haven't reached these parts of the world yet. Even if it gets here .... after your mentioning of beaver but taste, I am not going anywhere near it.
I keep away from fake things and fake people as well.
Very informative and thought evoking writing about all things artificial!
To extract castoreum, have they been decimating beaver population???

Dealing with fake people has to be one of the most exhausting things you can do. No conversation is honest, its all what should be said or whats cool to say. No personality of their own so one is created and acted out. I like the berry analogy. Really enjoyed and related to this poem! Well done 👏

very interesting approach to the fake people thing, I'm sure I'll never eat blue raspberry the same way again, and I almost guarantee at some point I'll start randomly laughing about beaver butts and no one will have any idea what I'm on about

Well, your title certainly sucked me in. That's going for it. I think you could've had a bit of a smoother transition from your critique of blue raspberry to your critique of fake people (blue raspberry people), but otherwise the piece is very nice. Thank you very much for submitting!
