Message to my Captor

Message to my Captor

A Poem by empiethree

No matter how terriable life becomes dont secumb to those who dictate over you. There are a lot of people wrongly imprisoned in this world. There is a lot of injustice. The world will be put to sleep by lullabies of political red tape and injustice so slo

Message to my Captor

One
One hundred,
One hundred to one
One
One hundred
One hundred to one
We’ve been there
And now it’s done
So it’s one hundred
One hundred to one

One
One hundred,
One hundred to one
One
One hundred
One hundred to one
We’ve been there
And now it’s done
So it’s one hundred
One hundred to one

I heard you singing my name again
Dancing swinging punches at the air
Longing for battle
Of wills you declare
I will always be here
And never out there

Craving the outside I won’t hinder at you’re thoughts
For its cracked and torn from the outside a delegating cause
My captor you are striking me from right across the floor
I’m eternally hollow forever my sorrow wont leave these walls

Take me where the dragons fly
Take me where it’s you and I
Kill me with you’re lullaby of rage
Before I turn the page

Screaming my rage internally
I never asked to be put away
For the torturing prospect dying in me
Never saw the light of day
For the darkness of night
Won’t see the moon rise
It doesn’t exist in my walk of life
I’m not holding you, just a thought of you
And I know I’m not all right

Go and stand outside and stop reading my thoughts
For they’ve turned to sorrow and weakened from force
My captor now you’re killing me you won’t realise
I’m eternally smothered and constantly covered in fabricated lies

Take me where the dragons fly
Take me where it’s you and I
Kill me with you’re lullaby of rage
Before I turn the page
On my life
I’ll end it tonight
For the honourable thing
For you’re sorrowful sin
Is for me to just give in….

I see her crying on the stairs
Because no one looks, no one cares
Her heart is trampled, never spared
And the light of her face won’t guide her to grace
I would tell her but I’ve been put in my place
For these invisible walls have the better of me
I can’t make her smile
I can’t make her see
She could light up my day as bright as the sun
But it’s no use fighting one hundred to one

And the light on her face should guide her to grace
I would tell her I love her but put in my place
Are these invisible walls for the better of me
I can’t make her smile
I can’t make her see
She could light up my day as bright as the sun
But it’s no use fighting one hundred to one

Take me where the dragons fly
Take me where it’s you and I
Kill me with you’re lullaby of rage
Before I turn the page

One
One hundred,
One hundred to one
One
One hundred
One hundred to one
We cannot change
What we’ve become
So it’s one hundred
One hundred to one

One
One hundred,
One hundred to one
One
One hundred
One hundred to one
We can’t stop
What we’ve become
So it’s one hundred
One hundred to one
