Bob

Bob

Hangovers last the weekend, but bad memories last a lifetime....

BOB

Let me tell you all, this is a song of deciet
About a young man who fell off his feet
I got inspired when I heard this track
So listen to me now while I take you back to
February twenty five, two thousand and six
Eddies party started at six
And by nine five people hit the deck
Bottles on the floor and the place is a mess
People are recked
While we check for a phone
To try and get them home
Its already too late
Bob is on his back and he starts to spew
Good thing somebody spoke
'Turn him over or he’ll choke'
So we did and we took him outside
Someone stole his shirt as he dried
And I cant believe somebody lied the next day
Bobs dead you’d hear everybody say
But Sam; she believed the lie
And Sam; she started to cry
And as Bob rode past her house
She couldn’t believe her eyes
He’s alive
It was all a lie

To this day I wonder if he knew what he was doing
Cast all values aside
His new life is spewing

Of course we could look at this differently
To see what happened originally
But I should have done this a long time ago
Cause I know some people want to know
Why this still happens and why this did
Well let me tell you his head was full of s**t
He probably wanted to forget something that happened at home
Something so bad
Maybe he felt alone
And needed attention
Cause he wasn’t getting any from Jarrett in detention
Did I mention the attention he got was really bad
Cause everybody at Eddie’s had a camera phone
So now everybody has a kodac moment of that tragic night when he got owned

In this world I realise
We are not all who we say we are
And the saddest part is when it breaks somebody’s heart

Got broken, broken in two
The second we all saw the spew
We wondered; Is this who Bob really is?
So week on the ground he couldn’t even make a fist
Cause he was so pissed that he passed out cold
Blank expression in his eyes made him look old
 Without any devotion
So much emotion in the air
You either love him, hate him or just don’t care
He probably forgot how it happened
And forgot how he felt
But Ill never forget
How I felt
So sick in the stomach and angry in the head
Cause made a mistake and somebody said he was dead

And the saddest moment is when we realise
In someones eyes all the lies they’ve spoken

Wish I had of stopped him
But hey, its all in the past
Hope he never does it again
He scared too many people
Including me

This is a very emotional rap piece for me, because it is based on a true story.

The rhyme scheme is well executed... I could see the whole thing happening. It's vivid and honest. It's obvious from the tone that it was a really difficult night, and you captured it really well. That's hard to do when making something rhyme. Good work.
